An official scholarship and study kit ceremony was held held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 in N'Djamena, under the aegis of the Ministry of Finance and Budget and in partnership with the World Bank. 50 young people Chadian laureates admitted to the prestigious subregional schools of statistics and demographics were rewarded.

mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi; color:black; font-weight:normal">la mso-color-alt:windowtext">official award ceremony for scholarships and study kits was organized by the National Institute of Statistics, Economic Studies and demographics (INSEED). The winners each received a laptop, an indispensable tool. to their academic career, as well as collective financial support of 260 million FCFA to cover their training costs. The initiative is part in a dynamic of strengthening human capacities in the field statistical, considered strategic for the development of Chad. She has was supported by the Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics Project in West and Central Africa (PHASAOC). The director General of the PHASAOC, Tom Chérif Bilio, described the admission of 50 laureates as “national record”, hailing an exceptional success that reflects “the “enlightened vision of Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno” and joint efforts from the government and its partners, including World Bank .

The director General also announced that in 2026, several flagship projects will be carried out, including the population census, the construction of the INSEED headquarters and of the National School of Statistics, as well as a national survey on health.

The resident representative of the mso-ansi-language:fr; Mso-fareast-language:en-us; Mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"> Bank global , Farouk Mollah Banna, reaffirmed the commitment of his institution to support the Chad in its fight against poverty and for shared prosperity. He has Recalled that the Bank is financing the strengthening of the statistical system to the extent of 105 million dollars, including more than a third devoted to RGPH-3
