The economic recovery plan against the Covid-19 pandemic has created and saved 2 million jobs in Nigeria. This plan cost nearly $6 billion.

More than 2,300 billion naira (6.04 billion) have been earmarked for the economic support plan (ESP) implemented by the Nigerian authorities in June 2020. This was to make it possible to cope with the economic consequences of the Covid-19 crisis, which has slowed business activities in the country.
