"You are one of the agents at the service of the development of the Ivorian private sector in their respective activities, constitute a pride for all Côte d'Ivoire, through the example they set especially to young people, in terms of commitment to the service of society and the Nation as a whole" welcomed the minister who also presented the congratulations of Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly and the Government for the quality work done.
He also highlighted the merits of the private sector whose participation in value creation has raised the rate of private investment from 6% in 2012 to 16.5% in 2019. "Private sector investment accounts for 71.4% of overall investment in Côte d'Ivoire. The private sector contributed 78% to the creation of added value in 2019 and created more than 89,000 jobs in 2018 compared to nearly 59,000 in 2013," he said before urging the recipients to do more, with a view to enabling Côte d'Ivoire to have competent human resources capable of making it a developed country.
Among the recipients, Jean-Marie Ackah, President of the CGECI and Cissé Mamadou, PCA of Moov CI were elevated to the rank of Commandeur.
Mondon Pacome, Managing Partner of Mondon International, Special Advisor to the President of the
CGECI, Koffi Abouah Guillaume, PCA of Koffi & Diabaté Group and Johson Boa Roger, Ceo axa Assurances received the rank of Chevalier.
In the order of Officers, Mr.M Ismaila Patrick, CEO of the Inova Group, Dr Aka Elété, President of the Employers' Union of Private Higher Education, Koné Habib James, Director General of Atlantic Business International, Director of the CGECI, Yattabaré Fodé Kaera, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kaera Holding, Touré Amadou is since August 2009 Chief Executive Officer of Corlay Côte d'Ivoire (Ex Texaco), Doumbia Alassane, PCA of the SIFCA Group, N'dri Koffi, Economist in Business Management, Taty Dominique, Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Abrogoua G. Michel, Founder and Chairman of Phoenix Africa Partners Holdin Group (PAPH) were distinguished.
Thanking the Head of State, Alassane Ouatera, the recipients, through Amadou Touré, Administrator of the CGECI made "the commitment to remain worthy of this recognition of the Nation. We are ready to continue our efforts to contribute to the economic development of our dear country.
