A decisive forum on research and the innovation between ministers of higher education from AES and Togo a was launched in Niamey on Monday, September 22.

A strategic audience has been granted to a tripartite delegation from member states of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) and Togo, under the leadership of His Excellency the Army General Abdourahamane Tiani, President of the Republic and Head of State. This This meeting marks the official launch of the National Research Forum Scientific and Technological Innovation, in a regional context facing major security, climate and economic challenges.

The audience brought together three eminent figures from West African higher education. It is the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso, Adjima Thiombiano; of the Minister of Higher Education and Research Scientist from Mali, Professor Boureima Kansaye and the Minister of Higher Education and Research of Togo, Natchaba Kanka-Malik.

The latter came to consolidate the links within of the AES. They participate actively in the National Forum for Scientific Research and Technological Innovation, which takes place from September 22 to 24 under the theme: “National Sovereignty Challenges: Research Contribution Scientific and Technological Innovation for Sustainable Solutions”.
