The National Forum for Scientific Research and of Technological Innovation (FNRSIT) was held from September 22 to 24, 2025 in Niamey. It is a strategic meeting between ministers of higher education from AES and Togo.

The FNRSIT was held under the theme: “National Sovereignty Challenges: Research Contribution Scientific and Technological Innovation for Sustainable Solutions”. La first edition of this forum organized under the high patronage of the President Tiani, and the sponsorship of Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, was marked by a ministerial panel on the role of research as a driver of socio-economic development. Several scientific conferences have also focused on major issues such as food security, agriculture, the environment and energy.
