work of the Morocco-Senegal Business Forum “B to B Multisectoral”,
with the participation of a host of economic operators from both countries
representing various sectors of activity.
The Multisectoral B to B Forum aims to strengthen
bilateral trade and to promote a win-win partnership
based on complementarities between Moroccan companies and
Senegalese. This meeting was jointly initiated by the Moroccan Investment Development Agency and
Exports (AMDIE) and the Moroccan Embassy in Dakar, in partnership
with the Senegalese Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Major
works (APIX).
According to the Moroccan Ambassador to Senegal, Hassan
Naciri, “Morocco and Senegal share historical, human ties
and cultural values of exceptional depth.” According to him, these
fraternal and united relationships are driven by Her Majesty's Enlightened Vision.
King Mohammed VI and the President of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Bassirou
Diomaye Diakhar Faye.
Mr. Naciri also indicated that the choice of Senegal to host this forum “reflects the recognition of the central role of this sister country as a pole of stability, governance and leadership economic in West Africa”, highlighting the reference framework “Senegal 2050: National Transformation Agenda”, which includes a clear ambition: to build a sovereign, inclusive and competitive open to the Community Economic Affairs of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
This forum, which ends this Thursday, brings together
Moroccan companies active in the sectors of agro-industry,
consulting and engineering, electronics, renewable energies,
infrastructures, metallurgy, building materials and
information and communication technologies.
