As part of the fight against Child Labor in cocoa, the National Monitoring Committee for actions against Trafficking, Exploitation and Child Labor (CNS) leads a series of conferences in France.

Invited by the Association "Les Amis de San Pedro", an NGO promoting Ivorian cocoa in France, the CNS led a series of conferences on the fight against child labor in cocoa production in Côte d'Ivoire. The objective of these conferences was to present the measures taken by Côte d'Ivoire and the actions that are carried out to eradicate child labor in the cocoa supply chain. The aim is to better inform public opinion on the progress made by Côte d'Ivoire in this area, and to dispel the confusion that is often made between hazardous child labor, forced labor and socializing work.
