On Monday, November 24, the director of Office of the Minister in charge of Justice, Tchalim Kadanga, officially inaugurated the House of Justice of Kabou, in the capital of the municipality of Bassar 3.

The inauguration of the Kabou courthouse is over of the Administrative Modernization Project (PMADS). The infrastructure does part of the fourth wave of structures created in 2025 as part of the Administrative Modernization and Capacity Building Project for the delivery of services (PMADS), jointly financed by the Togolese State and the Bank global (BM).

The aim of this inauguration is to promote justice that is more effective, less expensive and closer to citizens, especially to deal with small neighborhood conflicts.

The structure works with five main actors : a conciliatory mediator, a legal assistant, a support agent, a secretary and a cleaning agent.

Its mission is the amicable and free settlement of social legal disputes and problems; and information and legal education in communities.

The prefect of Bassar, Assiah Hodabalo, expressed his satisfaction, stressing that the opening of this house in Kabou constitutes a real pride for the local population.
