The roads leading to the Dandé Mayo are composed of two (02) sections respectively to the north and south of this part of Senegal. The opening of Dandé Mayo involves a total of 232 km, 10 bridges and the Orefondé-Loumbeul Baladji-Loumbi-Loumbi Sandarambé track over 55 km, co-financed by the State of Senegal and its Development Partners. The Dandé Mayo Sud, from Matam to Dembacané, will be carried out within the framework of the Special Outreach Programme, whose funding is already secured. The works on this section concern 126 km of road and the construction of 10 major bridges. With this important contribution from the Saudi Fund, the minister informs that the financing of roads to open up Dandé Mayo has, fortunately, been completed.
