The Agency for the Development and Supervision of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (ADEPME) has launched its program “Employment, Economic Transformation, Recovery” (Eter). The objective is to help 5,000 Senegalese companies to “go digital” and increase their production capacity and job creation.

The Eter program will be financed with 150 million US dollars (approximately 98.2 billion CFA francs), including a contribution from the World Bank, and will run for four years, according to l& Rsquo; ADEPME. The agency dedicated to SMEs assures that the e-PME project, one of the components of the program, will facilitate the digitization of beneficiary SMEs.

The e-SME project will receive financial support of 24 million US dollars (approximately 15.7 billion CFA francs), which will come from the planned 150 million US dollars. The Priority Investment Guarantee Fund and the Sovereign Fund for Strategic Investments will contribute to guaranteeing and financing this initiative.
