WendLassida Florence Bassono/Kaboré, manager of Faso, received the big prize for presenting an environmental project on the sustainable management of waste in ATI& production Eacute; ke. Indeed, according to the winner, the sustainable waste management project is an initiative that, in addition to being profitable, contributes to the preservation of the environment.

“We are going to install a bio digester that will allow us to replace butane gas with bio gas for cooking our atiéké. And the bio digester will also provide us with compost that we are going to give to women cassava producers for the production of ecological cassava,” she said in her presentation.

According to him, cassava without chemicals will help to regenerate soils in an assisted manner in order to cope with climate change and preserve consumer health.
