In order to ensure its pan-African development, Oragroup will very soon launch a new issue of commercial paper for 35 billion CFA francs on the regional market of UEMOA. This new issue will be fully covered by the African Garantee Fund West Africa. An agreement was signed Thursday in Lome - headquarters of the banking group - between Oragroup and AGF. This guarantee reflects a mark of strong confidence in our company', declared Ferdinand Ngon Kemoum, Managing Director. “This operation also testifies to the solidity of the group's growth,” he added. Oragroup recorded a strong improvement in its performance for the 2018 financial year with a balance sheet total of 2,171 billion CFA francs (3.7 billion dollars), an increase of 21% compared to the previous year. In 10 years, the growth trajectory has been significant. The network has grown from a presence in five West and Central African countries to a pan-African dimension with subsidiaries in 12 countries spread over four monetary zones. 20% of the bank's capital is listed on the BRVM.
