France: the new anti-Covid bill on the rails

The Council of Ministers in France is due to adopt a bill on Monday containing new anti-coronavirus measures, including the extension of the health pass, before a review this week by Parliament, under the pressure of the resumption of the Covid-19 epidemic. The text is presented while the French have, without waiting for the law, already massively resumed the path of vaccinodromes. The Tokyo Olympics face fear of a cluster at the Olympic Village

Two players of the South African football team and a member of the management, based in the Olympic Village of the Tokyo Olympics, tested positive for Covid-19, raising fears of an outbreak of contamination five days before the Opening Ceremony.   On Sunday, the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee announced that three positive cases of Covid-19 in the "same country and sport" had been identified at the Olympic Village, without giving further details.
