Facebook launches new program to help French media

Facebook unveiled on Friday a program supposed to help a dozen French media to "develop their digital audience", "promote their brand" and "generate subscriptions", two years after launching an "accelerator " digital subscriptions dedicated to the regional daily press (PQR). Libération, 20 minutes, L'Obs, L'Express, Prisma Media, Slate, RTL, Combat and Jeune Afrique will participate, from September to November, in training courses given "by experts in the media industry," Facebook said in a statement.
