Bygmalion: the time of judgment for Nicolas Sarkozy

It's time for judgment for Nicolas Sarkozy, this time in the Bygmalion case. The court is making its decision this Thursday in the case of excessive spending of its 2012 presidential campaign, almost twice their legal ceiling. The decision of the Paris Criminal Court is expected at 10:00 am. Nicolas Sarkozy's entourage, contacted by AFP, did not wish to give any indication of his possible arrival. In March, he became the first former president of the Fifth Republic to be sentenced to prison - three years including one farm -, for corruption and influence peddling, in the so-called "wiretapping" case.  After five weeks of hearing in May-June in the Bygmalion case, the prosecutor's office requested a year in prison against Nicolas Sarkozy, six months of which were suspended.
