New heat wave in the United States, fire measures in Canada

The United States could break new temperature records as several western regions of the country and their 30 million inhabitants suffer a heat wave, the second in a few weeks. In neighboring Canada, authorities announced emergency measures to prevent wildfires in the context of "extreme weather conditions," as the number of fires increased Sunday in the province of British Columbia, to 298 of which 50 began in the last two days.
