The actors of the European tech ecosystem were received by President Emmanuel Macron at the Scale-Up Europe event. On the occasion, they put forward 21 concrete proposals to bring out technological leaders and strengthen the continent's digital sovereignty.

They were 200 members of the European tech ecosystem to participate in Scale-Up Europe, intended to promote the emergence of European digital giants, especially against their American and Chinese competitors. They delivered to the President of the Republic 21 concrete proposals to bring out in Europe 10 technological leaders valued at more than 100 billion dollars by 2030, in order to strengthen the continent's digital sovereignty.

Thus, in the investment sector, it will be necessary to take advantage of the multiplier effect of public funding at EU level; to create an ecosystem favourable to the listing of technology companies on European stock exchanges; to boost private financing e to the high-yield venture capital asset class; develop secondary markets for growth assets; develop visibility and information on the performance of European VCs.

For access to talent, the actors advocate the creation of a tech worker status for European talents, with a standardised contract and the portability of social rights on the continent, an accelerated European technological visa for non-Europeans and a tax regime favourable to expatriates, the implementation of competitive stock option plans in European countries, then aligning best practices at European level, the development of a European diversification rate based on the reports of technology companies, the development of an international culture from the beginning of the development of startups with English as a working language, to name but a few.
