In the first half of 2019, NSIA Banque CI was able to consolidate its position on the Ivorian banking market through a positive annual evolution of net outstanding loans of 16%, i.e. an amount of 793 billion FCFA and a growth in outstanding customer resources which go from 723 billion FCFA to 734 billion FCFA.

The total balance sheet of CFAF 1,148 billion at the end of June 2019, increased by 12% compared to June 2018. The Bank is continuing its efforts to mobilize resources from customers in order to reduce the level of its refinancing with the BCEAO.

The Net Banking Income of NSIA Banque CI, as of June 30, 2019, recorded a decrease of 9% compared to June 2018, following the contraction of the intermediation margin and stood at 32.3 billion FCFA.

Overheads are up 12%, due to variable expenses but also expenses related to the extension of the branch network. As of June 30, 2019, they amounted to CFAF 19.1 billion and take into account the charges incurred by the Bank's compliance with the various regulatory changes that came into force since January 1, 2018.

As a result, the Gross Operating Result landed at 10.2 billion FCFA, down 34% compared to the 1st half of 2018.

The Net Cost of Risk stood at -3.19 billion FCFA in June 2019 against -10.16 billion FCFA in June 2018.

Profit before tax, which amounts to 7.5 billion FCFA, is up by 29% compared to the first half of 2018, thanks to the Bank's policy in terms of credit risk control.

Net income, at the end of June 2019, was up 30% year-on-year, and stood at 5.9 billion FCFA.
