For the second time, Bloomfield Investment Corporation gives the Bank of Africa (BOA) a long-term A- grade with a stable outlook.

This rating and its long-term perspective result in high credit quality. The protective factors are good, according to the banks. In the short term, Bloomfield cited “the high certainty of timely reimbursement” as justification for the grade awarded to BOA Senegal. The rating team highlights that liquidity factors are strong and supported by good critical element protection factors. In addition to this aspect, Bloomfield is convinced that the risk factors for BOA Senegal are very low. The positive factors on which BOA Senegal's rating is based are the economic recovery in Senegal, promoting the dynamics of the bank's activities (credit and collection), the risk management system that generally complies with regulatory requirements, and a resumption of the balance sheet transformation strategy, focused on supporting individual and SME customers.
