The Estates General of the Eco, the future West African currency, will take place in Lomé on 26, 27 and 28 May. Upstream, Kako Nubukpo, one of the organizers of this high-level forum has just published the basic document of the Estates General.

The work is placed under the theme "From CFA to ECO: which currency for which development in West Africa?". "This report comes from African researchers and experts who have worked constructively to determine the multiple issues and challenges of the transition from FCFA to ECO", writes in particular the former Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FASEG) of the University of Lomé.

Several personalities are expected to attend this meeting, including former Beninese Prime Minister Lionel Zinsou, economist Carlos Lopes, economist Michel Nadim Kalife, CEO of Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire and regional executive director for the zone, Uemoa Paul-Harry Aithnard, the Managing Director of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM), Edoh Kossi Amenounve, among others.
