A mobile application was launched in Lagos by Viou with the aim of creating a community of African visual content creators who use the platform to tell the story of African history.

At the launch of his new platform for showcasing African heritage, Viou co-founder Asabe Vincent-Otiono said the app would give creators a voice of African visual content and would allow them to tell African history. It will be able to help African visual content developers showcase their talent and will also help them get paid in the most rewarding way.

Also, the app will help say the right things about Nigeria. Likewise, it will help the world see the good things about Nigerians and Africans. With respect to the app's local content, Vincent-Otiono said that the app was developed locally by Nigerians.
