In collaboration with financial partners in key regions, the African Development Bank Group is working to the establishment of a pan-African financial coordination platform.

The pan-African platform of financial coordination is designed to promote greater synergy between African financial institutions and ensure a deployment resource efficiency. The proposed platform will make it possible to improve efficiency through the sharing of project pipelines, the harmonization of technical standards and the coordination of the schedules of implementation. Development finance institutions are allies essential to its success, as they are ideally placed to fill the funding gaps and stimulate development at the national level and regional, emphasized President Ould Tah. “Regional DFIs are the most close to the beneficiaries,” he noted, adding that he was essential to strengthen the capital base of these institutions in order to improve their ability to fulfill their mandate.
