Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, following the upward trend in the international market.

On the local market, the price of gold per tola a reached 446,862 rupees, an increase of 2,700 rupees during during the day. According to the rates communicated by the Association of Jewelers and gems from all over Pakistan (APGJSA), 10 grams of gold were sold at 383,112 rupees after accumulating 2,315 rupees.

At the same time, the price of silver has also jumped 54 rupees to reach 5,963 rupees per tola. The silver price jumped by 0.7% to reach 56.78 dollars per ounce, after previously reaching an all-time high of 57.86 dollars.
