The Banque Populaire recently organized a forum in Casablanca on the theme: "Revival of SME investment, from expectations to solutions".

This forum, which was kicked off by Mohamed Karim Mounir, President of the Banque Populaire Group, and marked by the effective presence of Mohamed Benchaaboun, Minister of Economy and Finance, is part of Banque Populaire's resolute commitment to supporting companies in their investment projects.

During this meeting, more than 400 business leaders exchanged - within the framework of panels - on expectations and solutions to be implemented. "This meeting is an opportunity for banque populaire to provide operators with concrete solutions to support them in their development process, and to reaffirm its commitment to the revival of investment," said Soumia Alami Ouali, Deputy Director General in charge of corporate banking at the People's Central Bank.

The organization of this space for exchanges on issues related to SMEs and investment confirms the privileged relationship of the Banque Populaire with this category of companies, which, as a reminder, represent more than 95% of private companies in Morocco.

This initiative is in addition to other concrete and multifaceted actions of the group in favor of SMEs. Through the involvement of its regional Popular Banks, which are at the forefront of financing the regional economy and supporting SMEs, the Banque Populaire Group's market share in loans often exceeds 40% of the financing granted by the banking sector at the regional level.
