Beyond its actions already known to the public, the Umoa-Titres agency plans to undertake more specific actions for the evolution of the financial market. In an interview with Sikafinance.com, the director of the agency, Adrien Diouf lists the projects for 2021.
 
On the secondary market for public securities, heavy projects will be initiated from 2021. The Umoa-Titres agency has set itself the objectives of setting up a market agreement, a listing platform and the evolution of this listing platform towards that of transaction.
"The aftermarket is a major concern for us. It will allow us to broaden the investor base... We also want investments, that is, to be able to monetize these securities, once we need them. It is a factor in broadening the investor base and maturities," says Adrien Diouf, who says that the dynamism of the secondary market is an issue that concerns them and on which they are working.
Thus, he informs, beyond all the actions undertaken in terms of capacity building, regulatory frameworks with the support of the Central Bank, this year, the agency will undertake its more specific actions. "The first is the establishment of a market agreement, it is to allow an easier dialogue and reduce the time spent on the conclusion of a transaction (...) the second is the alignment with the existence of the market agreement, a listing platform, "he informs in his interview.
For him, this means that the actors will agree on certain conditions. Thirdly, Adrien Diouf indicates that "we will evolve this listing platform towards that of transaction which, in the future, will complete the infrastructure that we have today, namely the Sagetil platform which is a great tool for the settlement of transactions".
