The agency Umoa-Titres announced that Mali intends to raise 910 billion FCFA in total for the year 2021 on the regional market. The timetable for issuing the country's public securities was made public on 23 March in Bamako.

910 billion FCFA is the total amount of securities that Mali wishes to issue for the year 2021. According to Umoa-Titres and the State of Mali, this sum will be mobilized through 22 issues of public securities. Public and private investors are massively expected to achieve Mali's objectives.
The mobilization of these resources will allow the state to cover its one-off cash flow needs and to finance economic development projects such as the construction of infrastructure, the financing of innovative projects or the daily management of the needs of the state.
Recall that the State of Mali mobilized 906.17 billion FCFA on the regional financial market in 2020. It should be noted that the Malian treasury has been operating on the regional market since 2003 with encouraging growth. It is in collaboration with Umoa-Titres, the BCEAO, management and intermediation companies and other intermediaries that Mali is defying all expectations in terms of the West African market in terms of public securities.
