At the end of a 7-year Treasury stimulus bond issue (DSB), Burkina Faso raised this Wednesday, April 13, 2022 on the WAEMU financial market the sum of 51.654 billion FCFA.

The operation materialized in global bids from investors of 76.705 billion FCFA while the issuer had put up for auction an amount of 50 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of the amount put out to tender of 153.41%. After auction, the amount of tenders retained by the issuer amounts to 51.654 billion CFA francs and the amount rejected to 25.050 billion CFA francs. This gives an absorption rate of 67.34%. Investors whose bids are selected will end up with a weighted average return of 6.13%.
