The total value of Market transactions in fact amounted to 2.674 billion FCFA against 549,110 million FCFA on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 and 680.964 million FCFA Tuesday, January 6, 2026. At the end of the trading session on January 7, 2026, the average annual value per session was 655.489 million CFA francs. This means that with this strong increase, this value will increase accordingly.

As for the market capitalization of the equity market, it recorded a decrease of 4.245 billion, from 13 252.920 billion FCFA the Watch out at 13 248.675 billion FCFA this Thursday, January 8, 2026.

That of the bond market also fell by 57 million, in standing at 11,433.943 billion FCFA against 11,434.176 billion FCFA the day before.

The BRVM Composite index fell slightly by 0.03% to 343.62 points against 343.73 points the day before. The BRVM 30 index also recorded a slight fall of 0.07% to 164.58 points against 164.70 points the day before. As for The BRVM Prestige index fell sharply by 0.90% to 142.44 points against 143.73 points the day before. On the other hand, the BRVM Principal Index is experiencing a strong increase of 1.03% to 219.12 points against 216.89 points the day before.
Finally, the BRVM Composite Total Return Index (Global Return Index of market) recorded a slight decrease of 0.03% to 132.32 points against 132.36 points the day before.
