The draft law correcting Ordinance No. 2020-001/P-CNSP of 4 September 2020 amending Law No. 2019-070 of 24 December 2019 on the Finance Law for the financial year 2020, was adopted during the plenary session of 25 February 2021.

Presented by the Minister of Economy and Finance Mr. Alousséni SANOU, the budgetary and financial balance of Law No. 2019-070 of 24 December 2019 on the Finance Law for the financial year 2020 has been modified by adjusting the forecasts of resources and expenses of the State.
These are: the net decrease in budgetary revenues of CFAF 74.201 billion (resulting from new revenues of CFAF 225.379 billion and a decrease in existing forecasts of CFAF 299.580 billion); the net increase in cash resources of CFAF 146.049 billion (resulting from new resources of CFAF 228.249 billion and the decrease in existing forecasts of CFAF 82.200 billion); the net increase in budgetary expenditure of CFAF 222.408 billion (resulting from additional expenditure of CFAF 372.408 billion and the decrease in existing forecasts of CFAF 150.000 billion); the decrease in cash expenses of 15.630 billion CFA francs.

Budget revenues were set at CFAF 2,107.627 billion against CFAF 2,181.828 billion provided for in the initial Finance Law. Expenditure amounted to 2,826.976 billion CFA francs against 2,604.568 billion CFA francs in the initial Finance Law, an increase of 222.408 billion CFA francs.
