The State of Mali has just raised an amount of 27.5 billion FCFA on the financial market of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU) at the end of its issuance of assimilable treasury bonds (BAT) with a maturity of 182 days, reports the Umoa-Titres Agency.
Out of a total amount put up for auction of 25 billion FCFA, the agency UMOA-Titres stresses that the operation that took place on January 13, 2021 saw a global bid of 50.007 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 200.03%.
At the end of the auction operation, the Malian treasury withheld 27.500 billion CFA francs and rejected the remaining 22.507 billion CFA francs, i.e. an absorption rate of 54.99
