As part of the campaign to combat the Cancer, the Senegalese Federation of Insurance Companies (FSSA) offered a lot of three medical devices worth nearly 23 million francs CFA at the Senegalese League Against Cancer (LISCA).

The Fssa offer consists of equipment thermal ablator, a colonoscopy camera and a mammogram. Dr Makhtar Faye, Executive Director of the Senegalese Federation insurance companies indicated that “the Senegalese Federation of insurance companies have mobilized strongly to support the LISCA to participate in this collective fight”.

During a ceremony to present this gift in presence of several health actors, Mr. Faye noted that “Cancer is not a disease of shame.”

Fatma Guenoune, president of the Senegalese League Against Cancer for its part indicated that “the Senegalese Federation of Insurers is coming to support us. This gift will go into an area where there will be no mammography equipment to allow women in this zone to be able to screen themselves and not to wait +October pink+”. According to him, this mammography device “allows you to see very small tumors for which the woman will not need undergo mastectomy
