control of supply chains, Abuja seeks to secure its
export opportunities and to preserve several billion dollars of

Concretely, this document allows the department to
Agriculture to establish a framework for traceability and monitoring of
farms and supply chain control in order to

exports are now “traceable up to the exact limit of
farm, legally produced and verifiable as being free from deforestation
”.
To deploy effectively This strategy, the Nigerian authorities also announced a protocol Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Agriculture and National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), the space agency of the African country from the West.
