After the training of the brigade commanders of the national gendarmerie and their deputies, it is the turn of the investigation and prosecution authorities of the national police. A capacity building workshop was organized for them on the fight against cybercrime, money laundering and terrorist financing.

Organized by the National Financial Information Processing Unit of Mali (CENTIF) in partnership with the private firm DA-TA FLAQ'S in collaboration with the Ministry of Security; the workshop was placed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Colonel Modibo Koné. She recorded the presence of the representative of CENTIF, the Director General of DA-TA FLAQ'S, the Chief of Staff of the National Guard, the Director General of the National Gendarmerie, the Director General of the National Police, among other guests .
According to Minister Modibo Koné, in Mali, "Law No. 2019-056 relating to Cybercrime which determines cybercriminal offenses and the procedures to be followed for their repression were adopted on December 05, 2019. Today it is more than necessary to train the actors on this new tool made available to them in order to prevent, fight against the harmful effects but above all to take advantage of the advantages it provides”.
