The supreme authority for state control and struggle Against Corruption (ASCE-LC) commemorated the International Day of Combating Corruption against corruption, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Ouagadougou.

The 2025 edition of the International Day of The fight against corruption is being held under the theme “Uniting with Youth” against corruption: forming the integrity of tomorrow”. The campaign for the International Anti-Corruption Day 2024-2025 focuses on the role that young integrity advocates play in raising awareness about corruption and its impact on their communities. Young people have actively participated in discussions and shared their experiences by proposing innovative solutions to fight corruption.

This campaign amplified the voice of the global youth, by allowing them to express their concerns and their aspirations, with the hope that their calls.

For ASCE-LC, this theme There is nothing trivial. In a country where youth make up more than 70% of the population, it represents a strategic lever in the transformation of behaviors and practices. According to the Comptroller General of State, Lassané Compaoré, “youth represent the majority of the population and embodies the future of any nation. It is the engine of innovation, creativity and social change. By placing youth at the heart of the fight, the international community recognizes that it is young people who, through their their energy and commitment can transform mentalities and build a society where integrity is the norm. Forming the integrity of tomorrow is invest in a generation that is aware, responsible and resolutely committed to defend transparency and justice. This theme is resonating particular in Burkina Faso, in a context marked by the reaffirmation of our national sovereignty and the will to build endogenous development, based on our own resources and our own capabilities. But this ambition cannot be achieved without a relentless fight against corruption and all similar offenses.”
