He had gone there to launch the work of a study day initiated by the research team on private law at the University of Abomey-Calavi.
This study day was entitled: "Return to the 2017 labor law". In his presentation, the President of the Constitutional Court tried to convince the audience of the relevance of this 2017 labor law. According to him, this text brings more flexibility to the labor market. Recall that the 2017 labor law sets the conditions and procedure for hiring, placement of labor and termination of the employment contract in Benin.
Communications on the 2017 labor law
In addition to Professor Djogbénou's presentation, several communications were given during this study day. These include communications referred to as: "the flexibility of labor relations through tripartite relations", "indefinite renewal of the fixed-term contract" and "the capping of irregular dismissal compensation in form".
