Crypted or not, currencies created by human communities with divergent interests are now in full rivalry. Co-authored by two economists, the book "The Future of Money" puts the dots on the "i".

The economist Michel Aglietta and his colleague Natacha Valla explains in their book that currencies are not technological innovations, but social and political constructions, reflecting the consensus that human communities forge at a given moment to be able to count and exchange products, and store its value beyond the time of their consumption.
The "currency war" marking the end of the dollar's domination, which the authors fear the most, is highlighted by Michel Aglietta and Natacha Valla. They propose, to avoid it, to return to the International Monetary Fund the function that its founding fathers, in 1945, had assigned to it: to ensure world monetary stability, but this time using its right to mint money.
