A hundred decision-makers and leaders of the banking and financial sector from fifteen countries are expected in
this important event held in Bamako and whose objective is to facilitate the rapprochement of banks and
credit institutions for sharing experience on the selected themes and sub-themes.
The CLUB of Directors of Banks and Credit Institutions of Africa which holds its annual days in
Bamako, invites all banks and technical partners to these meetings whose sub News is as follows:
▪ ECOWAS decision on the single currency ECO: consequences for African banks,
▪ De-risking,
▪ The consequences of the most recent evolution of banking regulation,
▪ African banking interconnectivity and systemic risk (investigation by the CLUB's Think Tank).
Since February 2018, the President of the CLUB is provided by Mrs. Aïssata Koné-SIDIBE, Director General of
CORIS Bank International Mali.
The Club celebrated its 30th anniversary in February 2019 in the Togolese capital where she was born. The Club has evolved a lot
matured and enriched by the actions carried out on the ground.
It still records a large and constant mobilization of its members, about sixty President of
Board of Directors, Executive Directors, Deputy Chief Executive Officers, and senior managers, which
characterized at the highest level, it is his ability to anticipate and a great vision that constantly encourage his
members to go further... ... and attest to the importance of private sector initiatives.
