He was received in audience on December 4 by the head of the Togolese government, Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé.
The CEO of the Brvm took the opportunity to present to his host the roadmap of the scholarship to support the government's mission for the coming years. The two personalities also discussed the upcoming construction project of a branch of the Brvm in Togo which will house several market infrastructures. Dr Edoh Kossi Aménounvé assured the head of the Togolese government of the commitment of the Brvm to support the Togolese economy. "We also talked about the long-term financing of the Togolese economy, both for the Togolese State and for the private sector of this country, to ensure that the financial market can support the State and the private sector in financing major development projects. Finally, we talked about the development of popular shareholding in Togo. How to ensure that Togolese, within the framework of the social and financial inclusion policy, can participate in the life of Togolese companies by becoming shareholders and ensure that the wealth created by companies can also be shared with the populations “, declared Dr. Edoh Aménounvé at the end of the interview.
The Brvm welcomes the Togolese government's adequate response to the health crisis linked to Covid-19. For its director general, “one of the lessons to be learned is the digitization of economic activities and this is a subject that the Prime Minister told us was important for the Togolese government. She presented to us the points on which the State is working so that this digitalization is really put in place in Togo”, he concluded.
