A delegation from the BRVM (Regional Stock Exchange) was received on Friday by Prime Minister Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé.

It was headed by Félix Edoh Kossi Amenounve, the Director General of the BRVM, a stock exchange common to the 8 WAEMU countries. He is also the Chairman of the African Securities Exchanges Association (26 African stock exchanges).

The participants mentioned the construction of a branch of the Stock Exchange in Lomé. It remains to find the land or the premises.

The BRVM intends to participate, through private shareholding, in togo's economic development.

The regional financial market has shown its resilience in the face of the health crisis.

This Fellowship plays a leading role in facilitating the mobilization of resources at a time when WAEMU countries need them most.
