The Banque Populaire de Côte d'Ivoire proceeded, Saturday, October 3, 2020, to the official opening of an agency in Mankono in the presence of the President of the Regional Council of Béré, Moussa Dosso.

Mr. Dosso, during the inauguration ceremony of the said agency, opened his bank account to encourage the populations to do the same in order to boost the development of the region.

"I want to encourage you to go to the bank because it's a development tool ... ," he recommended.

This bank branch intends to offer its services to the people of Mankono for the opening of accounts, but also for the granting of loans, said its director general, Issa Tanou Fadiga.

Its opening in Mankono is justified by the fact that the municipality has been identified as an area "with high economic density that accumulates good figures in terms of cotton, cashew and even coffee and cocoa production".

On 19 September 2020, a microfinance company HES inaugurated an agency in Kounahiri.
