Moroccan specialist in gold, oil, coffee and cocoa trading, Mostafa Belkhayate, said on Wednesday during an interview with sputnik France that Africa must form an armada of traders in order to better negotiate the price of its raw materials and enhance its natural resources.

According to him, Africa is full of raw materials and minerals of all kinds and that the west of the African continent is one of the main reservoirs of oil and gas with a third of the reserves.

However, he underlined, despite the richness of its subsoil and the diversity of its cash crops, this region and the entire continent remains among the least developed in the world.

To try to remedy this paradox, he recommends mass training of young Africans who are very gifted in mathematics and programming and who only aspire to learn, he underlined, specifying that this will enable African countries to create jobs, develop their financial autonomy and thus anticipate their development through the creation of R&D centers on the trading of raw materials.

Mostafa Belkhayate won in 1999 the first online trading world championship organized by the Geneva traders' association. in 2012, he was rewarded for his automatic trading system which obtains a return of 120% per year without any human intervention. In 2015, he won the Islamic finance leader trophy during the World Islamic Forum in Malaysia for his financial engineering for Africa, which consists of the issuance of a specific bond guaranteeing the full ownership of gold in its holders and that they can trade on the Nasdaq Dubai.
