This Tuesday, the two South Korean stock market indices recorded an identical increase at the end of the session: +0.21%. The Kospi, the benchmark index of the Seoul Stock Exchange, gained 4.51 points and climbed to 2,131.24 points. The Kosdaq, which includes technology stocks, takes 1.59 points and reaches 753.23 points.

On the currency side, the South Korean won lost a tiny bit of value against the European currency (+0.44 won) but gained against the greenback (-7 won). At the close of trade, the euro is buying 1,361.71 won and the US dollar 1,208.80 won (-7 won).
