Isabel dos Santos, the daughter of former Angolan president Dos Santos, has embezzled 52 million from Angola's national oil company, according to a Dutch court.

Isabel dos Santos allegedly embezzled the money in favour of a Dutch company that she owned with her husband, Exem Energy BV, concluded the Chamber of Enterprises, a body under the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, in a decision dated 15 June and made public on Thursday.

This court decision is the latest in a series of judgments against this woman, who was once called the richest woman in Africa.

Isabel dos Santos is accused of embezzling billions of dollars from public companies during the 40-year reign of her father Jose Eduardo dos Santos, who died in July 2022.
