During his inauguration speech, the Head of State, Patrice Talon, announced the projects of his second five-year term. He was sworn in this Sunday, May 23, 2021.The Beninese president lifted a corner of the veil on the projects to be implemented during this second and final mandate. He will, with his team, reinforce the achievements of the past five years but also set up projects that bring jobs.

One of the projects he intends to tackle is that of drinking water. Because, for Patrice Talon, the current state of mind will make it possible to meet the challenge of making drinking water available everywhere in Benin by the end of 2023.
"If we have been able to increase the overall service rate from 45 to 70% over the past five years, there is no doubt that we will be able, together, to achieve this objective," reassures the Head of State. It also announces energy autonomy, infrastructure through the strengthening of the road network, social and educational through the construction of a hundred technical high schools and reference trade schools, more than half of them by the end of 2023.
