On Friday, October 3, the Gabonese startup POZI, specialized in telematics and fleet management, announced that it had raised, from the Saviu Ventures fund, with the support of Emsy Capital and from the Chazai Wamba firm, 650,000 euros (or 426 million CFA francs).

The POZI fundraiser is an operation historic for Gabon. Indeed, it is the very first time that a startup local technology is attracting international venture capital investment. According to Loïc Kapitho, co-founder and CEO of the startup, “this fundraiser marks a major step, not only for Pozi, but also for the entire Gabonese technological ecosystem. She proves that our startups are capable of attracting international capital and have a strong regional ambition.”

Founded in Libreville, Pozi has already connected more than 2,500 vehicles and supports local actors and international companies in optimizing their mobility.
