A high level meeting was held in Lomé. A The opportunity, Société des Postes du Togo (SPT) and Omnibsic-Bank Ghana reinvigorate their bilateral partnership.

The meeting aims to accelerate the digitalization of postal services and to develop innovative financial solutions for connecting West Africa. Indeed, with Omnibsic-Bank Ghana, the Company des Postes du Togo (SPT) is consolidating its South-South partnerships, in a spirit of regional solidarity. The two institutions, the respective pillars of their postal and financial systems, have maintained links for a long time narrow. This meeting, held at the SPT headquarters in Lomé, is part of a dynamic of strengthening bilateral relationships. On the menu, a revitalization of collaborations to boost mutual development in a rapidly changing West African economic context.

According to the Togolese Post Office, “the exchanges focused on strengthening and revitalizing the partnership between two institutions, with a view to increased and lasting cooperation”.

Faced with common challenges such as the digitalization of services and financial inclusion in West Africa, this visit marks a key step. Indeed, it aims both to consolidate achievements, and to explore new horizons for smoother economic integration between Togo and Ghana, two border neighbors with shared ambitions.

Several ways of collaboration emerged as particularly promising. Among them, the optimization of postal services cross-border, the development of innovative financial solutions for rural populations, and the sharing of technology expertise digital.
