A decision welcomed by President Macky Sall on his Twitter page.The Senegalese president welcomed "the historic decision" of the G7 to set a minimum tax of 15% for multinationals. Meeting saturday in London, the finance ministers of the G7 (United Kingdom, France, Italy, Canada, Japan, Germany, United States) committed to the objective of a global minimum corporate tax rate of at least 15%.

" I welcome the historic decision of the G7 to set a minimum tax of 15% for multinationals. It is a gesture of fairness and global solidarity. Bravo ," wrote Macky Sall. In particular, the G7 members agreed on the principle of a "global minimum corporate tax" for large companies, at a rate set at "at least 15%". Discussions on this minimum tax will continue at the G20 Finance Ministers' Meeting in Venice, Italy, in July.
