Amadou Coulibaly indicated during the reading of the Council of Ministers that the Council adopted an ordinance reforming taxes on salaries, pensions and life annuities paid by employees. The Council also adopted the communication and the related draft ratification law. This reform is part of the overall framework for the implementation of the Government's social policy. It consists in modernising and simplifying the current tax system established since the first years of the 3 independent states, with the establishment of a more homogeneous system that is best suited to modest incomes.
