The announcement was made on Sunday, February 1, 2026 on the Facebook page of the EU's representation in Somalia, marking a new stage in the partnership between Mogadishu and Brussels.
This agreement is part of a larger set of
funding programs, for a total amount of 102 million euros,
signed on January 30. These initiatives aim to support key sectors such as
that education, migration management, as well as the strengthening of
communities through the development of infrastructures and means of
