The 1D1F policy is a private sector-led initiative that marks a decisive shift towards industry, with the idea of creating jobs in all regions of the country and further valorizing Ghana's raw materials.

The initiative aims to ensure a more sustainable food supply and create jobs for the unemployed while helping small entrepreneurs advance their traditional processing of food and other products across the country.
